Lauryn's Quiche

This is one of our daughter's longtime favorites and a frequent request at our house! Rich homemade custard is studded with crisp thick cut bacon and accented with ribbons of carmelized shallots & bursts of sweet red pepper. The addition of Gruyere & cheddar makes this dish the definition of decadence.
